The call we received about Helen said that her mom and siblings were killed by panther. FL Fish & Wildlife confirmed there was a panther in the area. :(

When we found Helen it was quickly obvious that she was blind. Her eyes had both ruptured due to infections, from the attack that killed her family, or both. Helen went to our special baby foster and quickly adapted to inside life. She learned to play, eat and snuggle and has moved on to a foster with other kitties to learn and grow with. Watching Helen explore and play with her friends, you would never know she is blind. She is truly a sweetheart and loves to cuddle next to your chest. Anyone who applies and is approved to adopt Helen would bring her back to us for her eye removal surgery.

Our adoption fees are $75.00 for any kitty 6 months of age or older. $85 for kittens under 6 months of age. Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. All kitties are litterbox trained.

Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful kitties, we ask that you please fill out our online Cat Adoption Application on our website aaFlorida.org/adopt.  There is a link on the top of the home page. Click on "Fill in", you don't have to register.  For more information about this kitty or any others, you can contact us at Adoptions@aaFlorida.org.  We are a foster organization and don't have set hours we are open - but we will gladly set up an appointment for you to meet any cat.  Of course, you're under no obligation to adopt if you come to meet any of our fabulous felines.
