Cara showed up in June 2018 at the colony cat feeding station of one of our volunteers.  She was so thin and emaciated.  She weighed only 4 pounds, but she was very tame and friendly.  She was brought to the vet who said she had already been spayed so we microchipped, tested her for diseases and vaccinated her.

The thing you notice about Cara first is how exotic she looks:  Large almond shaped eyes, ears sitting atop her head like an Egyptian cat god and her adorable bunny tail.  Her stripes and swirls add to her aura of mystery. Perhaps because she was starving for some time, she is all about food.  She eats quite a bit for a cat of her size.  She doesn’t have intestinal parasites! She loves canned food, Friskies Indoor gravy cans. She will eat Purina One dry Hairball Formula as well.  She loves to play with Da Bird and chase the laser light and hide in tunnels to pounce on her roomies!  She is somewhat play aggressive with other cats.  She loves to chase the other cats and make them run away from her even though she is much smaller.  The cats who stand their ground get along fine with Cara. She loves to have her head scratched and prefers to sit next to you rather than on your lap.

Adoption fee is $65.00 which includes up-to-date shots, FeLV test (negative) and spay surgery that is already done.  She is litterbox trained.
