BLIND KITTY HAZEL LOOKING FOR FUREVER HOME 

Hazel is a confident, sweet, happy kitty who is mostly blind. She can see some things. Not sure what yet. Big objects? Certain colors? Vet Opthamologist, Dr. Brown says Hazel doesn't have any blood vessels in her retinas. Evidently it's rare, but it does happen. We have no way of knowing if she was born this way or if it was caused by infection, or perhaps malnutrition. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to restore her sight. But Hazel doesn't know there's anything wrong with her

She was found living outside in a feral colony in West Pensacola. Hazel is very capable and confident. She's going to do well in almost any home. A purrfect furever home would be a one where you don't move the furniture a lot. Needless to say she needs to be completely indoors, although every kitty loves a screened-in catio (patio for cats).

Hazel is in very good health otherwise. She's approximately four to five years old, feline leukemia negative, spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Hazel is now ready to be adopted to her furever home! So far it seems like she's okay with other cats. We don't know about dogs.
