Amelia is part of a liter we've named The Big Toe Group. When they were first found they were less than a pound, incredibly malnourished and covered in mites. They also had serious eye infections that caused 2 of them to permanently lose eyes.   They needed round the clock attention for the first few weeks. After about 3 weeks the kittens mites were gone and they were starting to gain weight.  Once they were stable enough the ones who lost eyes had surgery to deal with scar tissue and infection.

Amelia is missing both of her eyes but she doesn't let it stop her.  She is rambunctious, curious and has no sense of personal space. She is always on the move, but when she does stop she wants to be held. She is very trusting of those who take care of her and her environment,  it's best if furniture isn't moved if she's around.  She often start running and playing  only to run head first into walls and such causing  her little whiskers to be bent at weird angles. When she gets lost or confused her sister Selena often gets up and lends a paw, leading her back to a safe spot.

Amelia's adoption fee is $75.00 which includes up-to-date shots, FeLV test (negative), microchip, and spay surgery that is already done. All kitties are litterbox trained.
